With winter fast approaching and the holidays in full swing, it can be easy to get complacent and wait for the swell in business that spring will bring to the mortgage business. This is a quick and obvious one. If you do not currently have software in place to track leads through your sales process, you need it. Trusting your sales force to track and maximize each and every lead on their own is foolhardy, to say the least.

4 – Optimize Your Mortgage Business Website for Mobile

Lastly, and maybe this one should have gone first – if your current website isn’t optimized for mobile, drop whatever you’re doing currently and get to work getting this simple yet important task completed.

The number of mobile website visits surpassed desktop (and laptop) website visits in 2014. Mobile is rapidly outpacing desktop consumer use of the Internet and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. If your digital assets aren’t optimized for mobile, you’re alienating your consumer base and losing business as a result.
